Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Description: The St. Francis School, Gomti Nagar celebrated the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation. On this auspicious occasion of Gandhi jayanti, the students conducted special assembly based on the theme ‘Non- Violence’. They presented the philosophical and pragmatic ideals of Gandhi Ji. The splendid event concluded with a graceful fancy dress competition in which children came dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi followed by Collage Making Activity. At last, Principal of the institution Rev. Fr. George D’Costa addressed teachers and children by saying “Live as if you were to die tomorrow, Learn as if you were to live forever”. The day ended with a thought in everybody’s mind that cleanliness is next to godliness and service to mankind is the first step towards reaching it.
